a solaced soliloquy

loneliness won’t leave me alone
it has a mind of its own
with desires and aspirations
to rival any of my inspirations

empty excess leaves the same mess as
a tornado decimating a town of hoarders
it fills my presence when i am but a specter
spectating the room where the white cloak lists my disorders

i might marry loneliness someday
and garner prosperity of misery
we’ll rent an apartment together
and release the artillery

the blood splatters echo
through the walls
they turn into inkblots that show
the empty vessel’s merchandise like an automall
